Deeper
I found a castle in the sand
I stumbled over something
Familiar, comforting
Worn stones hiding from the sun
And today they’re shining
It deserves a dig
Deeper, deeper, deeper
Deeper, deeper, deeper
Deeper, deeper, deeper
Deeper, deeper, deeper
I remember the oak song
Echoing on the empty walls
I was jumping from board to board
Trying to land on the silent ones
Climbing higher than vertigo
At the top of my tippy toes
All these muffled melodies
Now I know, were symphonies
I was king of a rising land
I was king until dawn
Pioneer of the risky plains
Trying to fool the sun
Sketching millions of battle plans
In which I would be victorious
I was ready to change the world
I was about to change the world
I found a castle in the sand
(A witness of the golden times)
And those times they were so golden
(They must have blinded many eyes)
I need to dig to find the answer
(I need to wake the sleeping wonders)
I need to know, maybe you know
Please tell me there’s a way to dig
Any deeper, any deeper
Any deeper, any deeper
Any deeper, any deeper
Any deeper, any dee
A way to dig any deeper, any deeper
Any deeper, any deeper
